      The newest 3M™ No Polish Connector is SC/APC-compatible and features a factory-polished ferrule assembly and keyed, angle cleave mechanical splice for maximized optical reflection performance (back reflection of <-60dB across temperature extremes for analog video). Like all 3M No Polish Connectors, it allows fast, on-site installation of 250 and 900µm connections, utilizing a one piece, pre-assembled design.

      With the 2529 optical fiber splice, you can easily splice any combination of 250 or 900µm fibers. Requires no power source, expensive equipment or special environmental conditions like fusion splices do. Yet insertion loss is <.1dB and success rate is >99.98%. Setup time is virtually nil and splices can be completed in half the time for half the cost of a fusion splice.
